Server Infrastructure: Hawld is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure located within India.

Data Localization: Your personal data is stored and processed on servers within India. We do not transfer your data outside India without prior notice and your consent.

Because Hawld processes financial transactions, we are subject to strict compliance rules under Indian law.

Retention: KYC and transaction records are retained for 5 years post-closure, as required by tax and banking law. On a data breach, we notify affected users and authorities without undue delay.

Account Deletion & Rights: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent, via support@hawld.in. On verified closure, your profile deactivates and non-mandatory data is erased within 30 days; legally required records remain archived per regulation.

Personal Chats (Encrypted): Any private, non-transactional messages sent between users are securely encrypted. Our administrative and moderation teams have no access to read your personal conversations.

Active Deal Chats (Moderator Accessible): Messages in a chat attached to an active deal serve as the official record of your agreement. If a dispute is raised, our authorized moderation team gains role-based access to view these deal-specific logs only, to review evidence and resolve the issue fairly — without ever reading your personal messages.
